- Mixed berries. For this crisp recipe we used fresh blackberries, wild blueberries, and strawberries. However, feel free to use any fruit mixture of your choice. Fresh peaches, apples or raspberries are also a great choice. You are welcome to use frozen berries, as well. Just note, it may take a bit longer to cook.
- Vanilla extract
- Gluten-free oats. We used Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Old Fashioned Rolled Oats. However, we have also used quick oats, steel-cut oats. All options turn out absolutely delicious in our opinion!

- Organic maple syrup. Maple syrup makes for both a binding agent and a natural sweetener.
- Organic coconut oil
- Gluten-free all-purpose flour. You can also use coconut flour, wheat flour or almond flour.
- Cinnamon
- Vegan vanilla protein powder. We use Orgain Organic Vegan Protein Powder. It has 21 grams of of plant-based protein, gluten-free, soy-free and sugar free. Not to mention, it tastes great! Want to change it up, try a pinch of vegan chocolate protein powder instead.
